A fragmented, web-only recovery flow full of dead ends, rebuilt as a self-serve native mobile experience for users locked out of their legally binding credentials.
Replaced an undiscoverable switch icon with a carousel showing every account at a glance — validated through workshops and surveys across 12+ stakeholder reviews.
Consolidated a confusing multi-PIN, multi-smart-card system into one PIN per account for 300K+ users — and rebranded the technical jargon users never understood.
Replaced a third-party NFC SDK with an in-house identity verification flow — illustration, animation, and full UX across passport, ID and driving licence.
How I Work
I work at the intersection of trust and usability — turning complex problems into experiences that feel clear, effortless, and genuinely usable for everyone.
As the sole designer on complex, high-stakes products, I lead through collaboration — working directly with PMs, engineers, security and compliance, the service desk, and QA to make the right trade-offs between hard constraints and the user experience.
I believe the best design comes from understanding constraints deeply enough to design within them gracefully, rather than fighting against them — grounded in research, testing, and iteration. I own the design system, ship across three platforms, and write copy that survives translation into eight languages.
- Regulated digital identity depth — eIDAS, qualified electronic signatures, eHerkenning, and the EU Digital Identity Wallet. Fluent in the compliance logic, not just the screens.
- Evidence-led decisions under real constraints — when external user testing isn't possible, I validate direction through structured surveys and stakeholder research.
